    In this edition of Behind The Design, CCS sits down with Lakai pro Marc Johnson to get the skinny on his latest pro shoe, The Marc. Modeled using a classic dessert boot silhouette, The Marc features a flexible lightweight vulcanized construction with latex midsole for increased cushion. The shoe has a tacky gum rubber outsole and a molded PU shock absorbing insole for high impact skating. For skate specific durability, The Marc also features a hidden optional eyestay for lace protection during long sessions. As Marc Johnson will tell you—It's hard to go wrong with The Marc if you like skating in vulcanized shoes.
