It wouldn’t be a solid DGK run at CCS without an appearance from DGK founding father, Stevie Williams. We caught up with Stevie while he was on the road and hit him with a quick list of What’s.
Read on and see what the the legendary DGK mastermind has fresh on his mind.
What would you do with a spare $50k? Leave it in the bank or invest. All kids out there, learn to invest early on.
What’s your fondest Love park memory? The people that put us down and helped us create DGK. Without them, I would have a lot less fond memories now.
What does DGK mean to you? Everything, it’s family. It’s exactly what I wanted out of a company and a good homies to travel with.
What motivates you? Success. And doing bigger things, but not forgetting where I came from.
What’s your favorite obstacle at Da Playground? The steep bank. I never got to skate stuff like that as a kid, so now that I have my own park I can keep progressing.
What pair of Supra’s are you rockin’ at the moment? My shoe, coming soon.
What would you do with 5 hours left to live? Be with my family. Everyone should be with them during their hours.
What’s your dream non-skate sponsor? Apple, I spend a lot of time with the products off the board.
What’s your favorite place to eat? Home cooked food. My girl and my mom cook some good food.
What does it take to put out a full video part? A lot of dedication, will and time. When you have 16 parts under your belt, it’s hard to keep one-upping yourself, but it’s worth it at the end.
What are your 3 favorite skaters of all time? Henry Sanchez, Jovantae Turner and Guy Mariano.
What whip are you pushin’? BMW 7 series
What do you do when the skate session ends? Go home, be with family. Whether [it be] my family or the DGK family.
What’s you last major purchase? New MacBook yesterday.
