Fresh in at the CCS shop is the first signature shoe from Habitat Footwear and the very first pro shoe from longtime Habitat ripper, Guru Khalsa. This ones called the Guru Exolyte and its no doubt an all-terrain beast of a low top.
With a clean, slim silhouette, the Guru has a classic thin shape that has a trimmed look, but is padded in all the right places. The upper construction combines both suede and canvas materials for a durable and extra breathable design. It has everyones favorite one-piece seamless toecap, eliminating anything to do with kickflip blowouts. And the ollie and lace areas are reinforced with double stitching throughout.
The collar is padded just right and fits extra snug around the base of the ankle. Premium support and stability through and through. The same goes for the tongue, its thinly padded but beefed up just enough for that snug fit feeling. On the floor is a lightweight phylon footbed thats designed to combat jumping down big sets and hard landings.
The Guru Exolyte has a proper EVA midsole and an outsole that features all-natural gum materials that are made street-ready with a classic and highly durable cupsole construction. A gum hybrid sole is not only extra grippy, it stays grippy over time and lasts.
And keeping things properly green in the name of environment, the Guru Exolyte is assembled exclusively with water-based glues. No horse harm done here.
If youre looking for a low-top thats built for hard skating, comfort and longevity the Guru Exolyte should be at the top of your wish list.
Be on the lookout for Gurus convertible hi-top available at CCS next month.
