It’s happened! Ishod Wair has been named Thrasher Magazine’s Skater Of The Year. This year’s road to SOTY was a ridiculously tough one. Ishod, had to out shine Brandon Westgate, Tommy Sandoval, Nyjah Huston, and Dane Burman to take the glory. In the end, the Love Park local laid it down with a massive amount of footage of the rawest street skating this year. Ishod capped off the year with a with a jaw dropping part in Nike SB Chronicles Vol. 2, in which he showcased a faultless blend of style, speed, tech, and gnar (and some super stylish yellow shorts).
A couple of weeks ago we caught up with Ishod and for a little rapid fire Internet Q & A. In honor of Ishod's SOTY award we figured we'd bring it back for all of you who missed it the first time around. Read on:

I finished watching your clips in Sabotage 3, your given name definitely sums you up, your folks definitely got it right. So what have you been up to? Nothing I’ve been hurt. My back’s been hurt. It’s not very serious, have been trying to take it easy.

What is your favorite place to travel? Spain. Barcelona and Europe in general.
What video part has had the biggest influence on you? I can’t say just one specific video, I like pretty much everything.
Here is some bonus footage from Jason Hernandez via Thrasher. To see Ishod’s full Chronicles 2 part go here.
Sketchiest thing you’ve ever seen at LOVE Park? I haven’t seen too many sketchy things just some fights. I seem to always miss the crazy sh*t. Once there was this big fight between skaters and a wedding party.

What has been your heaviest Fan experience? Have you ever had to sign any boobies yet? Nah that would be cool though.
What is your warm up trick? I usually just do a kickflip or an Ollie or a Tre-fli
SInce you are hurt what have you been doing to kill time? I’ve been playing a bunch of GTA 5 since I’ve been hurt. Or I just go out skating with my friends but I don’t skate.

Last trick you filmed? An ollie into a bank.
What is in Ishod Wair’s future? Who knows. I’ll keep skating as long as I can.

I'm thinking if you plant "both" feet on an obstacle, it would be more of a "bomb drop" or "acide drop" type, but not boneless. I mean there are so many names for so-called "boneless", such as if you grab front-side and plant your back foot is doing...
