If you’re not familiar with CCS Am Project rider Spencer Nuzzi now might be a good time to get acquainted. Currently riding for Birdhouse,Mishkaand Armourdillo this young am has some serious skateboarding skills as evidenced in his latest video part released from Mishka last week. CCS caught up with Spencer to get the latest on his experiences with Tony Hawk, his latest video part and his plans for summer [sans summer school].
What's the latest Spencer news?
Not much, just been getting hated on [laughs]. But that ain't new. I've been going to school up in LA. I’ve also been busy doing stuff with Mishka Clothing and Armourdillo belts and accessories. Aside from that I’ve been finding myself at DisneyLand and California Adventures a little more than usual. What you know about that Delux pass/Fastrack biz? I hella cut lines [laughs].
How long did it take to film your new Mishka part?
Only a couple months thanks to the filmer and editor Cameron Sanchez for me making me look good in it.
Where have you been living?
I live up in Los Angeles right now, but I’m back in San Diego here and there.
Any good eats up there in LA?
Damn straight! Everything is here in LA and I'm surprised I haven't gained an abnormal amount of weight here. I’ve been eating lots of asian food like Korean BBQ, Japanese, Vietnamese, and whatever else.
Have you been travelling a lot with Birdhouse?
Not lately. I’ve mostly been stuck at school finishing my AA.
Ever kick it at Hawk’s pad?
Yeah, actually. Last time I was there I watched Tony wallride over his freaking swimming pool and, yes, it was filled with water. I think it’s on Built To Shred. You should check it out.
Who is your favorite teammate on Birdhouse?
Everyone. That's what makes a team.
Where do you usually skate?
Stoner park, Syndrome and the streets.
Any solid plans for 2012?
I'm just in it for whatever happens next.
Who is your favorite CCS pro?
What is the last movie you watched?
It’s hard to answer that with Netflix at my fingertips.
Any plans for the summer?
Im turning 21 pretty soon so that should be fun. Oh and I can't forget summer school.
