If you know Silas Baxter-Neal, you'll know that his extracuricular interests extend way beyond skateboarding. You can catch Silas hiking out in the forrest, walking his dog or out in a remote stream somewhere fishing for trout or Salmon. His home town of Portland, Oregon offers some pretty epic access to wildlife and nature and Silas is usually more than willing to take advantage when he's not out skating. Silas, like many pro skaters, is also a big time traveler and has flicks from all over. We hit him up for a Cell Phone Raid this week and he gave us some great outdoorsly flicks of his life in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Have a look and see for yourself then go check out his new pro model, the Silas II, in the CCS Shop.
This is Kip in a park near my house that we walk most days.
This is my dog on top of an igloo that I made while living in Chicago.
This is a big tree in the Redwoods in Northern California
This is a salmon I caught. It's not the biggest fish, but this was a fun day on the river.
This is guru and Marius at Hamilton pool, which is outside Austin, Texas. It's a natural grotto and if you're ever in the area it's worth checking out.
This is Lisbon Portugal. It's a very beautiful place.
These are sumo wrestlers I went and saw in Japan. It's pretty entertaining watching mostly naked fat men push each other around.
This is Freddy charging down a full pipe into the New Mexican sun
This is pup creek falls which is at the end of a hike off the Clackamas river.
