In conjunction with Odd Future’s momentous mixtape release this week, we rang up OF photo correspondent Sagan Lockhart for a quick interview about his experiences working with Tyler, Left Brain, Taco, Jasper, Frank and the rest of the OF crew from behind the lens of his camera. Sagan’s been down with OF since before they were OF and has a unique relationship with all of them more as friends than the global supergroup they’ve grown to be. Sagan can be found managing the Odd Future store on Fairfax, on tour shooting photos, out skating in LA with Tyler or in the photo studio shooting product shots of the new Odd Future clothing line that will be in the CCS shop very soon. Stay tuned for the OF line drop, but in the meantime have a read about Sagan, check out some of his flicks and, if you're so inclined, follow him on Instagram.

How did you get involved with Odd Future?
I’ve known Tyler for a few years now. I was just friends with them before I knew what Odd Future even was.
Did you guys do anything special for this week's mixtape release?
They’re all on tour so I didn’t see them, but I’m sure they did something.

What's life on Fairfax like?
It’s cool. Everyone’s just like friends and family.
What's your current job with them?
I manage the store and shoot most of the clothing.

How's working at the store on Fairfax? Any crazy stories?
It’s enjoyable just hanging out with my friends and working with something that's a part of my life. There’s always something going on. You’ve just got to experience for yourself.
What's up with the new Odd Future TV show, Loiter Squad? Are you in it?
Yea, I’ll be in a few skits. The show will be crazy.

What have been some of your favorite photos you've shot of them?
Shooting photos of all of them during the "She" video shoot was a good one. It was a memorable day and time.
What do you shoot with?
I mostly use the canon ae-1. It’s the funnest and coolest to me.

Who do you usually skate with the most out of the OF dudes?
We usually get in a nice group when we do skate, but Nakels always down to skate and Tyler always wants to when he has time.
What's tour life like? Any crazy or stand out memories?
Tour life is really fun. Traveling with friends that are performing sold out shows is definitely an experience. I’m sure any minute of it could be documented and perceived as crazy to anyone that gets to see what goes on.

What's up with your zine, Fersher?
I just thought it would be cool to put something together with all my friends' photos and art or whatever else. Issue number two is coming soon. Check it out!
