The ancient Babylonian word for diamond is Rapš-Ätina which translates roughly to “indestructible radiance rock”, at least, that what I think it means, I’m not exactly fluent in ancient Babylonian. 


It’s clear that the ancient Babylonians knew what was up because they described the Diamond Supply Co thousands of years before they existed.
