In what is being heralded by some as the best professional event in Skate Park Of Tampa history, the Tampa Pro 2012 was nothing less than electrifying as skaters from all over the country descended on Tampa for three days of skateboard contest mayhem. All competitors including several CCS team riders skated like champs, but when it was all said and done it was CCS Pro Torey Pudwill who took home the first place trophy. Matched up against the blazing speed and consistency of guys like Chaz Ortiz, Nyjah Houston, Greg Lutzka and Chris Cole in the finals, Torey was able to bring it home for the win with a few shockingly difficult moves that could have won best trick including a consistent switch flip up the stairs, a giant smith grind on the rail up from flat and a few smooth back lips across and down the hubba. Lil Wayne was even on hand to congratulate Torey on his well deserved victory. Congratulations to Torey and to all CCS riders that showed out to compete—Shane O’Neill, David Gonzales, Ryan Sheckler, Sierra Fellers and Theotis Beasley. Here's a few flicks of Torey and the CCS team from the weekend.
