I don't like DGK's boards. I do like Flip. But I have to say Toy Machine has the best pop.

If you're looking for good pop, go with a Mystery. Those boards have craaaazy pop! Basically, if you are physically looking at boards... as in, not online or something, then look at the nose and tail and see how steep they are. Some people like a pretty small pop for starters but eventually you'll move into riding steeper pop. Buuut, try some Mystery boards out, I've always been pleased with them.

If you go onto YouTube and look up Joel Siciliano (sk8rjoel567), you'll be set. He does reviews of all boards he skates and has skated, and he is really good at skating and will sometimes make trick tip videos and such. He's an awesome reference, especially for board selection. Basically... try out different kinds of decks... size and width is imortant too.

I'll attach a pic of Mystery boards' tail/nose angle.

flip is pretty nice. a friend had a slightly bigger noard than me and when we let me ride it, i instantly learned front tailslides. but i do love dgk boards. they have nice pop but the only problem is they sortof chip easily. if you know what your doing you can reduce that by alot.

Another helpful tip, if you want a lot of pop get smaller boards... I had an 8.15 Deathwish (The one that looks like Thrasher magazine's logo) and its pop is not spectacular, the same thing happed with an 8.0 Mainland deck when I was younger (The orange spray-paint one, for all you Central-Californians). But I had a 7.0 Element Chad Tim Tim Dead End Gang model (The right size for smaller feet), a 7.75 AWS Dylan Rieder Hexmark deck, a 7.75 Anti-Hero Classic Green Deck, and a 7.75 Baker Bake Junt Model deck and those had awesome pop as well. Another thing is, if a board is expensive just think; you get what you pay for.
