Trick Tip | Switch Back Smiths With Uriel Esquivias

    April 29, 2013 | 1842 Views
CCS Am Project rider Uriel Esquivias is here today to explain the inter workings of the switch back smith. Not to be underestimated in it's difficulty, the back smith is a daunting trick to learn and doesn't come without sufficient knowledge and familiarity of switch stance skating. Take it from Uriel and make sure you're adequately acquainted with both switch back 50-50s and switch backside 5-0s before even attempting this maneuver. As Uriel says, one of the undisputed champions of this particular move is none other than Brian Wenning who makes it look all too easy. Bone up on your switch stance, watch a bunch of Wenning clips and give this one a shot. If you can pull it with consistency, you're on your way to the top. Good luck!
